The preliminary report on Pushpa 2’s second-day box office receipts: On day two, the movie made over Rs 62 crore in India across all languages, according to Sacnilk’s preliminary projections.
Early update on Pushpa 2’s second day of box office receipts: On its first day of release, Pushpa 2: The Rule shattered all previous records with a global box office receipt of an incredible Rs 294 crore. In just two days since its debut, Pushpa 2 has already surpassed the Rs 62 crore milestone at the Indian box office, bringing its total to nearly Rs 400 crore worldwide.
The Sukumar-directed film’s ticket sales are only increasing thanks to special government authority to sell them for more money till December 22.
As part of the Telangana premiere, Pushpa 2 brought in Rs 10.65 crore on Wednesday night, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. Allu Arjun’s film made an incredible Rs 164.25 crore in all Indian languages on the day of its release, December 5. With an opening day total of Rs 70.3 crore, the Hindi version of the film also outperformed Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, in terms of Day 1 earnings. The movie made 7.7 crore in Tamil, 1 crore in Kannada, and 4.95 crore in Malayalam.
In addition to Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil plays a significant part in Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The overall occupancy rate in Telugu at Pushpa 2 as of 8 p.m. was 46.39 percent. On Friday, 2782 Telegu screenings are planned in India. The occupancy rate for the Hindi language was 41.15%. On the second day, 7,253 screenings of the Hindi version of the movie are planned throughout India. The Tamil language has more than 900 shows, Kannada has around 200, and Malayalam has almost 400.
The 2021 movie Pushpa: The Rise has a follow-up called Pushpa: The Rule. Allu Arjun won his first-ever National Film Award for the film. Additionally, he became the first Telugu actor to win the Best Actor National Film Award.
