chennaiyin vs hyderabad- When You’re On That Field, You Should Have 11 Captains

Owen Coyle urges Chennaiyin FC to be more vocal before their home match against Hyderabad FC, saying, “When you’re on that field, you should have eleven captains.” Coyle described how awful a loss tastes and admitted that every team would go through a stretch of games that would prove difficult. But he encouraged his men to break out of their rut and make its supporters happy.

Ahead of Chennaiyin FC’s home match against Hyderabad FC, which is scheduled for Wednesday in the 2024–25 Indian Super League season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, manager Owen Coyle expressed how heartbreaking it is to give up a loss and reiterated that he would like his players to speak more on the field.

12 points from 11 games

With 12 points from 11 games, CFC is currently ranked ninth in the ISL standings, but a victory over the visiting HFC might propel them into the playoffs.

Up till this point in the season, Chennai has recorded three victories, five losses, and a number of ties; however, they have failed to win at home this year. Despite Coyle’s best efforts to get his team out of their current slump, CFC has also lost their last three games.

current season at Gachibowli Stadium

The two-time ISL champions CFC and Hyderabad drew in their previous meeting during the current season at Telangana’s Gachibowli Stadium.

Coyle said his team played well before giving up the first goal against East Bengal FC in their last match, ahead of the rematch at the Marina Arena.

He highlighted how awful a loss tasted and admitted that every team will go through a stretch of games that would be difficult. But he encouraged his men to break out of their rut and make its supporters happy.

“We performed admirably up to the East Bengal goal. We had five excellent opportunities that we could have taken advantage of,” Coyle remarked.

runs during times

“You will always have runs during times when you have lost games. It’s not pleasant. It’s a terrible sensation,” the British person went on.

We are the only ones who can go to that pitch, score our goals, take our chances, win the game, and make the people happy, he continued. “Nobody hurts more than us, but we are the ones who can change it.”

To put it more broadly, I would suggest that the team as a whole should speak up more. Even though Ryan Edwards is the captain, there should be eleven captains on the field. Eleven leaders are required,” Coyle continued.
