मुंबई में ऑस्ट्रेलिया की बड़ी यूनिवर्सिटी UWA का कैंपस खुलेगा। UGC से मंजूरी मिल गई है। जानें सितंबर 2026 admission, courses, fees और scholarship की जानकारी।
मुंबई: मुंबई में अब ऑस्ट्रेलिया की एक बड़ी यूनिवर्सिटी का campus शुरू होने जा रहा है। University of Western Australia (UWA) को मुंबई में अपना international campus शुरू करने के लिए University Grants Commission (UGC) से Letter of Approval मिल गया है। इसके साथ ही सितंबर 2026 में Mumbai campus में students के पहले batch की पढ़ाई शुरू होने का रास्ता साफ हो गया है।
UWA के मुताबिक, students के campus आने से पहले orientation programme आयोजित किया जाएगा। इसमें उन्हें campus, पढ़ाई के तरीके और academic environment की जानकारी दी जाएगी।
लेकिन इस खबर के साथ Mumbai के students के लिए कई बड़े सवाल भी सामने आए हैं—कौन से courses होंगे, fees कितनी होगी, admission कैसे मिलेगा, scholarship मिलेगी या नहीं और Mumbai से पढ़ने के बाद Australia में आगे पढ़ाई का रास्ता क्या होगा?
मुंबई में UWA का कैंपस कहां होगा?
UWA का Mumbai campus Andheri East में है। यह Marol Naka Metro Station के पास है और Mumbai Airport तथा Western Express Highway से भी अच्छी तरह connected है।
UWA के अनुसार campus Marol Naka Metro से करीब 1 मिनट, airport से करीब 5 मिनट और Western Express Highway से लगभग 3 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है।
इस location की वजह से Mumbai और आसपास के students के लिए daily travel comparatively आसान हो सकता है।
UWA Mumbai में कौन से Courses होंगे?
UWA ने India campuses के लिए Technology, Business और Management से जुड़े कई programmes रखे हैं।
इनमें Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Management, Global Business, Enterprise and Innovation और Economics जैसे courses शामिल हैं।
Postgraduate level पर MBA और Master of Information Technology भी portfolio में शामिल हैं।
हालांकि हर course हर intake में उपलब्ध हो, यह जरूरी नहीं है। इसलिए September 2026 admission के लिए चुने गए programme की current availability UWA से confirm करना जरूरी है।
UWA Mumbai की Fees कितनी होगी?
Students के लिए सबसे बड़ा सवाल fees का है।
UWA की 2026 indicative fee information के मुताबिक Computer Science और Business Management जैसे कुछ undergraduate programmes की first-year tuition fee करीब ₹14.52 लाख है।
Master of Information Technology की indicative first-year tuition fee करीब ₹19.25 लाख बताई गई है।
ये tuition fees indicative हैं। दूसरे charges अलग हो सकते हैं और future में fee revise भी हो सकती है।

September 2026 Admission की Last Date क्या है?
UWA India की मौजूदा जानकारी के अनुसार September 2026 Mumbai intake के लिए applications 31 August 2026 तक open हैं।
यानी admission लेने की तैयारी कर रहे students के पास आवेदन पूरा करने के लिए बहुत कम समय बचा है।
Application से पहले course eligibility, academic requirements, English language requirement और जरूरी documents की जानकारी जरूर check करनी चाहिए।
क्या UWA Mumbai में Scholarship मिलेगी?
UWA ने Indian students के लिए scholarship options भी रखे हैं।
Academic Merit Award के तहत eligible students को 25% tuition fee waiver मिल सकता है। इसके लिए academic criteria में कम से कम 80% aggregate जैसी शर्तें शामिल हैं।
इसके अलावा Premier Academic Award के तहत Maharashtra और Tamil Nadu के selected students के लिए 100% tuition fee waiver का provision रखा गया था। Maharashtra से 3 और Tamil Nadu से 3 students तक इसका फायदा पा सकते थे।
हालांकि September 2026 intake की scholarship application window अब बंद हो चुकी है।
क्या Mumbai से मिलने वाली Degree Australia वाली UWA की होगी?
यह सवाल भी students और parents के लिए काफी important है।
UGC के Foreign Higher Educational Institutions framework के तहत India में approved foreign university campus को academic quality और qualification से जुड़े निर्धारित नियमों का पालन करना होता है।
UWA Mumbai University of Western Australia का international campus model है, इसलिए इसे सामान्य private coaching या franchise centre की तरह नहीं देखा जाना चाहिए।
हालांकि किसी specific course की degree, recognition और आगे higher studies या employment के लिए equivalence जैसी जरूरतों को admission से पहले course level पर verify करना बेहतर रहेगा।
क्या Mumbai से पढ़कर Australia जाने का मौका मिलेगा?

NEP 2020 में higher education के internationalisation पर जोर दिया गया है। Foreign universities के India campuses इसी दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम माने जा रहे हैं।
इसका फायदा उन students को हो सकता है जो international university से पढ़ना चाहते हैं लेकिन पूरी degree के लिए विदेश नहीं जाना चाहते।

अब Mumbai के Students के लिए क्या बदला?
UWA Mumbai campus शुरू होने के बाद students के पास Mumbai में रहते हुए Australia की एक established university के academic system से जुड़े programmes पढ़ने का नया option होगा।
लेकिन फैसला सिर्फ university के नाम पर नहीं होना चाहिए। Course, total fees, scholarship, degree recognition, career opportunities और future Australia pathway को देखकर ही students और parents को decision लेना चाहिए।
