सीबीआई ने 60 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत के मामले में मुंबई में एंटी-एवजेशन विंग में तैनात सेंट्रल गुड्स एंड सर्विस टैक्स के एक अधीक्षक समेत तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया। इसको लेकर अधिकारियों ने रविवार को यह जानकारी दी. उन्होंने बताया कि अधीक्षक सचिन गोकुलका, चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट राज अग्रवाल और अभिषेक मेहता को उस समय गिरफ्तार किया गया, जब वे कथित तौर पर 20 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत ले रहे थे।
सीबीआई ने सेंट्रल गुड्स एंड सर्विस टैक्स (CGST) मुंबई के 6 अधिकारियों के खिलाफ शिकायत पर मामला दर्ज किया था। यह मामला एक बिजनेस मेन की शिकायत पर दर्ज किया गया था, जिसने आरोप लगाया था कि 4 सितंबर को जब वह सीजीएसटी के सांताक्रूज कार्यालय गया, तो उसे पूरी रात वहां बंधक बनाकर रखा गया था।

शिकायत में, उसने आरोप लगाया था कि 18 घंटे की कैद के बाद उसे 5 सितंबर को रिहा कर दिया गया। यह भी आरोप लगाया, कि हिरासत में रहने के दौरान गोकुलका ने उसे गिरफ्तार न करने के लिए कथित तौर पर 80 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत मांगी थी। जिसे बाद में घटाकर 60 लाख रुपये कर दिया गया। एक बयान में सीबीआई प्रवक्ता ने कहा, कि “अधीक्षक के तीन अन्य सहयोगियों ने भी शिकायतकर्ता पर दबाव बनाने में कथित तौर पर उसका साथ दिया, जिसमें बार-बार बल का प्रयोग और गाली-गलौज करना शामिल था।”
